Take a look around.
What it does
Built around a few things done well.
- Shrink to 40% size for twelve seconds and take the tiny routes through tunnels, gaps and secret passages.
- Seven lands, each with its own hand-painted art, music, enemies and mechanics.
- 65 handcrafted levels, with a gatekeeper at the end of each land and two secret levels to find.
- Forgiving controls: hold jump to go higher, with a moment's grace after running off a ledge.
- Collect Micro Sparks for extra lives and hunt for the three Sun Gems hidden in each level.
- No ads, no accounts and no internet connection needed.
Microman is a side-scrolling platformer for iPhone, played in landscape. Its hero is a miniature explorer with one special trick: a Shrink Spore makes him tiny for twelve seconds. While he is small he can slip through soil tunnels, under low branches and into hidden passages, and a countdown on screen tells you how long you have before he grows back.
The journey crosses seven lands: Garden Beginnings, the Clockwork Workshop, Kitchen Kingdom, the Moonlit Attic, the Micro Lab, the Toybox and the Glowhouse. Each has its own hand-painted art, music and hazards, from leaf lifts and beetles to steam vents, jelly pads, lantern-lit rafters and wind-up racers. Every land ends with a gatekeeper to beat before the next one opens.
There are 65 handcrafted levels, including two secret ones, with Micro Sparks to collect, three Sun Gems hidden in each level, lantern checkpoints and a clock to beat. The controls are forgiving and work with touch or a hardware keyboard. There are no ads, no accounts and no internet connection needed.
Microman is coming soon.
