Take a look around.
What it does
Built around a few things done well.
- Scan receipts with the camera, log jobs by voice, share in invoices or tap in an amount.
- On-device AI files each item under the right HMRC expense category; anything it is unsure of waits in a short review list.
- A clear ledger of money in and money out, with duplicate checks and an edit history for every entry.
- Quarterly updates shown exactly as HMRC will receive them, confirmed with Face ID before they are sent.
- Deadline reminders, Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets and a Live Activity countdown.
- An export for your accountant, with your records kept on your iPhone and no adverts or tracking.
Graft is bookkeeping for tradespeople who have to keep digital records for HMRC's Making Tax Digital for Income Tax. It is built for sole traders in the trades, from plumbers and electricians to joiners, plasterers and gardeners, who would rather be on the job than doing the books.
Snap a receipt, say what you were paid ("£420 cash for the Hendersons' boiler service"), share an invoice from another app or tap in an amount. Graft reads it on your iPhone, files it under the right HMRC expense category and keeps anything it isn't sure about in a short review list for you to check.
Each quarter, Graft shows your totals exactly as HMRC will receive them and sends the update once you confirm with Face ID. Deadline reminders, widgets and a Live Activity keep the next date in view, and an export for your accountant is a tap away.
Your receipts, photos and voice notes stay on your iPhone. There are no adverts, no tracking and no account to create.
Graft is coming soon.
