Mac Manager

Find space, clear the junk and watch your Mac’s vital signs. Carefully, with undo.

Coming soon to the Mac.

Free to download and look around. Cleaning comes with a subscription: a free trial, then £19.99 a year. Needs macOS 27 on a Mac with Apple silicon.

Twelve tools

One calm window for your whole Mac.

Scan once and every tool knows where your space has gone. The index keeps itself up to date as files change, so it’s ready when you are.

  • Overview

Your Mac at a glance, with a one-click Smart Clean.

  • Storage

A live map of every folder, biggest first.

  • Large & Old

Big files and things you haven't opened in months.

  • Duplicates

Exact copies found by content, plus similar photos.

  • Cleanup

Caches, logs, leftovers and Time Machine snapshots.

  • Developer

Xcode, simulators, package caches and old build folders.

  • AI Apps

Worktrees, old transcripts and caches from AI tools and local models.

  • Apps

Uninstall apps along with everything they left behind.

  • Tidy

Sort Downloads, Desktop and screenshots in one click.

  • Offload

Copy rarely used files to another drive, check every byte, then free the space.

  • Monitor

CPU, memory, disk, network and battery, in the window and the menu bar.

  • History

Everything Mac Manager has done, with undo.

Safety first

Built not to delete the wrong thing.

  • Caches and other files your Mac rebuilds are deleted. Anything that’s yours goes to the Trash, and History can put it back.
  • A protected list covers system files, app data, keychains, photo libraries and more, on top of every tool’s own rules.
  • Files are checked again just before they’re removed, so nothing that changed since the scan goes.
  • Dry run shows what any tool would remove without touching a thing.
  • AI agent worktrees go only when git says they’re clean, old transcripts only after 30 days and to the Trash, and memories, settings, sign-ins and chat databases are never touched.
  • Free Up Memory asks apps to quit the normal way, so they still offer to save your work.

And nothing about your files leaves your Mac. There’s no analytics, no tracking and no account to make.

Questions

Good to know.

Why does it need Full Disk Access?
macOS keeps parts of your Library private, and that’s where most caches and leftovers live. With Full Disk Access, Mac Manager can measure them. It reads names and sizes on your Mac and nothing leaves it. You can carry on without it, but some things won’t be found.
Why isn’t it on the Mac App Store?
App Store apps run in a sandbox that can’t see your whole disk or tidy up after developer tools. So Mac Manager is signed with our Apple Developer ID and notarised by Apple instead, which means macOS checks it before it opens for the first time.
How does the free trial work?
Start it from the Start Free Trial button. You’re not charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel before then. Paste your license key into Mac Manager to unlock every tool.
Can I use it on more than one Mac?
Yes, on up to 3. To move it to a new Mac, choose Deactivate on This Mac in Settings › Subscription on the old one first.
What if I’m offline?
Mac Manager checks your subscription once a day. If it can’t get through, everything keeps working for 14 days.
How do I cancel?
Choose Manage Subscription in Mac Manager’s Settings › Subscription, or email support@digitalhopeltd.com and we’ll do it for you. The free tools keep working.
Who takes the payment?
Polar sells Mac Manager on our behalf as the merchant of record. Polar takes the payment, handles VAT and sales tax and sends your receipts. We never see your card details.
