Support
StoryMint support
StoryMint turns one idea into ready-to-post content: single images, whole carousels and short video clips, with an editor, a library and a posting planner.
Get in touch
Email support@digitalhopeltd.com about anything: a bug, a refund Apple won’t handle, deleting your account, or a question this page doesn’t answer. A person reads every message. If something is broken, tell us your iPhone model and iOS version; it saves a round trip.
To report something StoryMint made that you find objectionable, use Report a problem in the ••• menu on the image or video, or under a carousel slide. We review every report.
Getting started
Do I need an account? No. Tap Try it first and you can start straight away; StoryMint creates an account quietly in the background so your work has somewhere to live. It’s worth adding Sign in with Apple from Settings before long: without it, your work and credits are tied to that one device and can’t be recovered if you lose it.
What do I get for free? 5 image generations. No card, no countdown, no trial that starts billing you. Importing your own photos and every editing tool stay free, subscription or not.
What is a brand profile? Your business name, what you offer, your tone of voice and the themes you post about. It shapes the written outline behind a carousel. Images follow the description you type and the style you pick, so you can skip it if you only want single images.
What do I need? An iPhone on iOS 26.2 or later and an internet connection. Generation happens on our servers, not on your phone.
Where does my data go? Your prompts, and any photo you ask StoryMint to refine, are sent to Google’s AI models on Vertex AI to make what you asked for. StoryMint asks your permission before the first time. The privacy policy has the detail.
Credits and billing
A credit is only spent when something is made for you, and a generation that fails gives the credit back automatically.
| Action | Credits |
|---|---|
| Image, any ratio and style | 1 |
| Carousel, 3 to 10 slides | 1 per slide |
| Refining an image | 1 |
| Video, 4 / 6 / 8 seconds | 5 / 7 / 10 |
| Importing your own photo, the carousel outline, every editing tool | Free |
My credits ran out mid-month. Buy a top-up pack of 10, 25 or 60 credits. It’s a one-off purchase, not a second subscription, and pack credits never expire or reset when your plan renews.
Do unused credits roll over? On a monthly plan the allowance resets each month. On a yearly plan the year’s credits are granted up front and stay until you spend them. Pack credits never expire.
What happens to my credits if I cancel? You keep them and can carry on spending the balance.
How do I cancel or change my plan? Through Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → StoryMint, or manage your subscriptions. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you’ve paid for.
I want a refund. Apple handles App Store refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something is actually broken, tell us; that’s ours to fix.
Making things
How do I post a carousel? On the review screen, tap Save to Photos. Slides are saved in order, so they land in your camera roll in posting order. Then start a carousel in the app you post to and select them in order. StoryMint doesn’t post for you.
Why is there no text on my slides? Image models misspell text, so StoryMint asks them not to draw any. Add your words in the editor, where they’ll be sharp and spelt correctly.
How long can a video be? Four, six or eight seconds, landscape or vertical. The editor can reframe it to square, 4:5, 9:16 or 16:9 without generating it again.
Does editing cost credits? No. Trimming, cropping, text and audio are free, as many times as you like, and edits save as a new copy so your original is kept.
When something goes wrong
My generation failed. Have I lost the credit? No, it comes back automatically. If your balance still looks wrong, email us.
“Content safety restrictions”? Google’s safety filters declined the request. They’re not always predictable, particularly around real people, brands, weapons or medical imagery. Rephrasing usually works, and the credit is returned either way.
Nothing is generating. Check your connection first. If a job seems stuck, leave the app: it carries on in the background and notifies you when it’s done. Anything genuinely stuck is refunded automatically.
My saved work is missing. Saved work belongs to your account. If you started as a guest and then reinstalled or changed phone without adding Sign in with Apple, that account can’t be recovered. Otherwise, check you’re signed in to the same account and get in touch.
How do I delete my account? Settings → Delete account. It removes every saved image and video, your brand profile, your library and plan, any credits left, and the account itself, immediately and permanently. Cancel your subscription with Apple first, because deleting the account doesn’t stop the billing.
Why does StoryMint want my microphone or photos? The microphone is only for recording a voiceover onto a video. Photos access is for importing pictures you choose and saving finished work. Nothing is read in the background, and you can refuse either and still use everything else.
My prompt shows on my lock screen. The “ready” notification quotes the start of your prompt. To hide it, set Settings → Notifications → Show Previews to When Unlocked, or turn StoryMint’s notifications off.
