Ratio – Privacy Policy

Summary

• We collect nothing. Ratio doesn't ask for your name, email or any account, and it doesn't send us any information about you or how you use it.
• Everything stays on your iPhone. Your dashboards, cards and measurement readings are saved in the app's private storage on your phone.
• No internet needed. Ratio has no networking code at all. It works entirely offline and never connects to a server.
• No adverts, no analytics, no tracking. The app contains no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting software, and does not use cookies.

Who we are

Ratio ("the app") is published by Digitalhope Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for any personal data described here. Contact: support@digitalhopeltd.com.

What the app stores on your iPhone

• Your dashboards and cards: their names, the units on each card, card sizes and order, and the last value you entered in each converter.
• Your trackers: what each one measures and its unit, and every reading you log, such as your weight, height or waist, with its date and any note you add.
• Which dashboard you had open last, so Ratio can return to it.

This information is stored on your iPhone with Apple's SwiftData and is never sent to us or anyone else. Ratio does not sync to iCloud. Your iPhone's own backups may include Ratio's data; those are covered by Apple's privacy policy and your iCloud or computer settings.

Some trackers, such as weight, can hold health-related readings. They stay on your iPhone like everything else. Ratio doesn't read from or write to Apple Health.

Purchases

Ratio is a paid app sold through the App Store. Apple handles the purchase and we never see your name or payment details. There are no subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Pre-release versions

If you test a pre-release version through TestFlight, Apple may share crash reports and any feedback or screenshots you choose to send with us, under Apple's TestFlight terms. We use them only to fix problems and improve the app.

Who we share information with

No one. Because Ratio doesn't collect personal information, there is nothing for us to share or sell.

How long information is kept

Your dashboards and readings stay on your iPhone until you delete them in the app or remove Ratio. Removing the app deletes its data from your iPhone.

Your rights

We don't hold personal data about you. Everything Ratio stores is on your iPhone, where you can change or delete it at any time. If you have a question about your privacy or your rights under UK data-protection law, email us at the address above and we will reply within one month. You can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Permissions

Ratio doesn't ask for any permissions. It does not use your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or health data, and it doesn't send notifications.

Children

Ratio is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects your privacy, for example adding iCloud sync, this page will be updated and the effective date changed before the update is released.
